with subhead: "Hitler Revolt Plot Barred by Raids" and small photo of Hitler. (see) Always nice to have notable events in history reported in this World famous publication.
Other news, sports and advertisements of the day. Complete in 44 pages, this is the rare rag edition that was produced on very high quality newsprint, with a high percentage of cotton & linen content, allowing the issues to remain very white & sturdy into the present. Given the subscription cost, libraries & institutions rather than individuals were the primary subscribers of these high-quality editions. Nice condition. A few small binding holes along the spine.

Nazi Party headquarters all across Germany are raided by police who are under orders to stop a plot to launch a civil war in Germany. Prussian police also search the homes of many Nazi leaders. The raids are the result of intelligence that the Nazi Party has 500,000 "storm troopers" ready for battle, even including mechanized and motorcycle units.
All of this is true, and what's more the police discover large caches of arms and ammunition in the hands of Nazi Party members.
Speaking from Munich, Adolf Hitler claims to have known about the coming raid and that Prussian Minister of the Interior Carl Severing is simply panicing at the thought of Nazis coming to power:
